This is the debut effort of the full-band version of the Jethro Jordan project, bringing the energy and kick-ass vibe of the ladies in the rhythm section into the mix with the sludge folk, sandbagging, slow-as-molasses, anti-rock acoustic vision of long-time collaborators JJ and Marc Pop — generating a sound that is subtle in its art and clear in its intent. which, of course, is to mostly play as slow as physically possible, and still manage to put a little devil into it. the jj aims to please, with ease.
